Cookie Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This policy lists the cookies and similar storage OmniaPilot uses, what each one is for, and how to turn off the ones that are optional.
The short version: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not let third parties track you across other sites from here.
What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We also use two related technologies that this policy covers because they do similar jobs: local storage, which keeps small preferences on your device, and session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to work. They cannot be switched off from inside the app, because without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session | OmniaPilot | Keeps you signed in for the current session | About an hour |
| Session refresh | OmniaPilot | Renews the session so you are not signed out mid-task | Up to 30 days |
| Payment fraud checks | Our payment processor | Fraud prevention on the checkout and billing pages | Up to 1 year |
| Active store | OmniaPilot | Remembers which connected store you are working in | Until cleared |
Preferences
Stored on your device only, and never sent to us. These hold small pieces of interface state — which project you had open, which tab of a result you were reading, whether a panel was collapsed — so the app does not reset itself between visits. Clearing your browser storage removes them and costs you nothing but the convenience.
Analytics
We keep server-side request logs — page, timestamp, IP address, browser — for security and debugging. Those are not cookies and are not tied to an advertising profile.
If we add a client-side analytics tool, this policy will list it before it goes live, and any non-essential analytics will be off until you agree to it.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No cross-site tracking cookies.
- No sale or sharing of browsing data.
Marketing pages embed videos and images we host ourselves, so viewing them does not hand your browsing to a third party.
Third-party pages
Two flows hand you to someone else, and their cookies are governed by their policies rather than this one: our payment processor at checkout, and Shopify when you approve a store connection.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and clear local storage, from its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in — that is not a bug we can work around, it is what a session is.
Browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals are moot here, because we do not do the tracking they ask us to stop.
Changes
If we add, remove or repurpose a cookie, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Questions: privacy@omniapilot.com.
